What We Expect From Our Tutors:
1) Professional Integrity:
1.1 - Honesty and Transparency: Be truthful and transparent in all communications and transactions, whether with students, parents, or colleagues.
1.2 - Confidentiality: Any matters, personal information or otherwise, discussed with a student/client must not be shared outside of the company.
1.3 - Professionalism: Tutors should maintain a high level of professionalism by consistently being punctual and using courteous manners when interacting with clients. Your conduct should reflect our commitment to providing exceptional service.
2) Respectful Conduct:
2.1 - Respect for Diversity: Treat all students, parents, and colleagues with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
2.2 - Appropriate Language and Behavior: Use respectful and appropriate language in all forms of communication. Refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying.
2.3 - Cultural Sensitivity: Be sensitive to cultural differences and traditions, avoiding actions or remarks that may be offensive or disrespectful.
2.4 - Recordings: Lessons are not recorded by default, however should a student/tutor deem it necessary to record and store lesson recordings, the tutor must acquire written approval from the paying client to do so.
3) Personal Communication
3.1 - Contact with Students: Communication with students under 18 must be verified by a parent or guardian where applicable. If the paying client is not the student, permission from the paying client is required to message the student; otherwise, all communication should go through the paying client.
3.2 - Communication Style: Maintain a professional and positive communication style when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
3.3 - Availability: Be responsive to emails and messages from students and parents in a timely manner, and inform them of any planned absences or unavailability.
4) Violation of Terms
4.1 - Consequences: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contract.
